AUSTRALIA

Australia, officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is a country in the southern hemisphere comprising the mainland of the world's smallest continent, the major island of Tasmania and numerous others island in the Indian and Pacific Ocean. Australia is the only single country to occupy an entire continent.Surrounded by the Indian and Pacific oceans, Australia is separated from Asia by the Arafura and Timor seas.

Animals
There are many different species of wildlife in Australia. Marsupials are the most successful group in Australia. This group includes kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, Tasmanian wolves, Tasmanian devils, wombats, and many others. The platypus and the echidna are egg-laying mammals. There are also numerous different species of birds. Some of them are cockatoo, kookaburra, lyrebird, the flightless, emu, and several types of parrots.

Flora
Vegetal life in Australia to develop in three different zones: the tropical zone, the temperate zone and the zone of the desert.The tropical zone has a great forest population of trees. The species that develop are, oaks, ash-trees, cedars and beeches they are the palm, the fern and the grapevine.The temperate zone is characterized by trees that can resist the dryness. Also there are extensives association of pines, take the second position, after the eucaliptus. In the desert there are many semiarid bushAustralia has around 2.000 species of plants:

Sports
Australia has strong teams in cricket, field hockey, netball, rugby league, and rugby union, and it performs well in cycling, rowing, and swimming. Nationally, other popular sports include Australian rules football, horse racing, soccer, and motor racing. Australia has participated in every summer Olympic Games of the modern era, and every Commonwealth Games.Other major international events held in Australia include the Grand Slam Australian Open tennis tournament, international cricket matches, and the Formula One Australian Grand Prix.

Food
The typical plate in Australia is roast meat. There are other typical food for example the delicious Cabanossi that are a specie of sausages similar salami.Other plates common in australia are meat the of exotic animals such as cocodrile, kangaroos and buffalo. There are important crustacean too (mud crabs and shrimps yabbies)There are a small number of desserts and sweet dishes that are popular thought of as being unique to Australia:

In my opinion Australia is a country very different respect other countries.
Australia has to a lot of variety animals and plants. The animals are very different respect Spain and they are very rare and beautiful.
Sports in Australia are similar to sports in Spain.
I like the food in Australia for example roast meet.
I would like to travel to Australia to know other traditions and cultures.
